Smooth, silky jazz with just the right instruments - piano, stand-up bass, sax, brushes on drums, and of course, just the right singer!
A few discordant notes here and there help the jazz setting to not be too “loungy” |

There is a nice pulse along with the angular chords and bass line. Melancholy and psychic calmness. Does that sound like a lot of B.S.? Let’s just say it’s groovy and fits the vocal/lyrical message well.

B.S. is an acronym (a word formed from the letters of a series of words) for a rude expression used to describe something that is untrue, insincere or exagerrated. I meant what I wrote sincerely, but then I thought the language sounded a little phony or pretentious. Example - “Haskel may think he sounds intelligent, but anyone can see it’s just bulls**t”.
