no vocals, because we want to encourage people to do something radically different, e.g: interpret it completely on your own (re-record vocals, use internet based samples, make a different vocal melody, etc..) instead of just “remix”

Perfect! That is my favorite way to compose. I don’t even like calling my tracks “remixes” since they barely if at all resemble the original arrangement.
