Thanks! The dissonance comes from the layering of the notes together, which happened by chance, and it does add a bit of longing to the otherwise uplifting nature of the melody. Glad you liked it.

Very nice. Love the sound of the marimba/xylo with the flute melody. Plus it would be a good piece for someone to add some upfull vocals to. Well done.

So cool that Jenna is playing flute on the this track! I love how you build completely cohesive mixes around samples that layer in interest. Kara’s Uke is a wonderful base to tie it all together. A great track!!!

This is a track with a casual sense of motion that features a recurring motif from a flute lead and syncopation from the rhythm section woven together into an eccentric, colorful vibe. This tune would work nicely as a video track to convey a sense of either carefree attitude or time passing. It would also work well in a podcast as an interstitial or bumper.
