I can totally relate. Right now I’m trapped in a school system that doesn’t value students’ individual needs as much as it really, really should, all because my family not only can’t help me out, but also insists on me staying in such a system. I fear it may be damaging me, and that’s why I’ve always wanted to stand up for myself, like in the song, despite me not being able to in the first place because of my school system’s authoritarian beliefs.
