The production is stellar in the buildup of the distorted guitars, and the combination of simple tight drums and the loose guitar on top. This is so far up my alley it’s practically my house. I know you weren’t probably intending when you wrote it quite the bleak corrosion of sanity that this remix points to, but Peter Gabriel’s ending of “Lead A Normal Life”, as well as Pink Floyd-type depictions of losing your marbles, were definitely what came to mind for me with those lyrics…. I’m an odd Duck, what can I say? ;-)
