A bass thumps away on eighth notes, a voice sings, and the rain pitter patters. Other bassy notes jump in asynchronously, and the singing voice is back.
An anvil in a blacksmith shop clangs, and echoes with music notes. Guitarlike noises come in and take over. “Are you happy now” as computerlike noises make short conversation. The long siren voice sings again, and the percussion changes groove as a clarinet chimes in. A guitar makes a wah wah sound in the background. The mood changes from ambient to funky, and The Edge plunks away on a steady guitar note, as a tabla knocks and the clarinet comes back. Knocking filtered percussion comes in, and various U2-like guitars take over along with a synth fitting into the same sound space. Are you happy now? YES!!! |

This would be a great backtrack for one of your mysterious poems with all the weird sounds in here.

And this track suggests that all librarians are rockers at heart! Plus, it’s story-telling, rock-techno-pop style.

Some masterful morphing in here — I can’t even identify how the mood changed, the transitions were subtle and effective. Terrific job! Bravissima!

I’m sorry I missed this until now. This is awesome. Highly enjoyable. Extremely creative. Had to listen twice in a row (so far). Right on, debbizo.
