love this. i believe many of us can relate to your story - an artist’s struggle is quite universal.

thank you for sharing.

This is an excllent story of how creative commons licenses have vitalized creative efforts by making them available and accessible. Bravo!

How many of us have been keeping our creativity in a bottom drawer, a closet shelf, a hidden space, lacking opportunities to bring them to the light of day. You’ve done better than most I suspect. This poem brings that experience to light and shows how the process of sharing can rekindle flames long extinguished or reduced to a glowing ember.

…and …can I borrow your accent??? :-)

Thanks E. I have less in the bottom drawer these days but I’ve misplaced exercise books full of words and a whole lot on old floppy disks.
The accent is a bit of English (I lived in UK as a child) and then a bit of Australian. I’m not so aware of it myself so it is funny when people notice it :-)
