your bring in either more keys or a guitar that comes in a bit hot…the levels seem a little high on that one little piece of the track.

Yeah, the guitar is a little high in the mix. Try this. If you’re still using GarageBand download this free spectrum analyzer: inspector

Solo your guitar part and watch it in the analyzer. Do the same for the Jeremy’s Vox. Use the AU Graphic equalizer to drop the guitar volumes in the frequencies where it overlaps Jeremy’s vox (the viola part as well).
