I hope I wasn’t too heavy handed with such a deeply personal issue for you. I’m not going to pretend I fully understand what you were grappling with in this song, but I figured the stage of anger usually gets visited during the grieving process. That was my guiding principle anyway.

Oh no, not too heavy handed at all. This song is about my father who had dementia (he has since died). He really was a great man who was also a friend, but you know, there were still plenty of things to deal with. One really cool thing… he never did forget who I am.

Set Velocity to 127 and hold on for dear life! I use FREE plugins almost exclusively. The drums I used here are a fantastic VST called MONSTER Drums:
