I never could have imagined these pieces could work together… and yet… wow. So cool. Chilling. It’s an honor to be mixed up with Spin here… and in such an inventive, emotional way. Thank you. This song means a lot to me and you took it to a new place.

I hope I wasn’t too heavy handed with such a deeply personal issue for you. I’m not going to pretend I fully understand what you were grappling with in this song, but I figured the stage of anger usually gets visited during the grieving process. That was my guiding principle anyway.

Oh no, not too heavy handed at all. This song is about my father who had dementia (he has since died). He really was a great man who was also a friend, but you know, there were still plenty of things to deal with. One really cool thing… he never did forget who I am.

What a perfect melding of samples and your own vision and skill. True to Kara’s very personal and deep expression of grief. Just a top notch piece all-around.

Set Velocity to 127 and hold on for dear life! I use FREE plugins almost exclusively. The drums I used here are a fantastic VST called MONSTER Drums:

A psychedelic tour de force filled with power! Zenboy’s dynamic and mezmerizing arrangement includes the rich dreamy voice of Kara Square on vocals with back up and blazing guitars from Spinningmerkaba. Bravo to all!
