But… is the kick to loud/fat (compressed)? There is no other “bass” in the mix and there’s a lot of low frequency cut from everything else already, so I “need” that kick phat.

Sounds great on my monitors and mixing headphones but a bit heavy on my ears on my daily Bluetooth headphones :)

Thank you very much! I am actually so happy I managed to make an Irish track that actually feels almost as if it was a real band, even though I always go for that electronic touch (since I’m half-Irish myself, but born and lived in Sweden).

However, many of the melodies that the violins are playing are cut-out and transformed samples that are bought from other places, and would probably be problematic under a CC license. Even though they are remixed and remade quite a lot, I don’t wanna risk it. Sorry :/

And yes. Even though I’m only trying to learn to master myself, it’s certainly important to make stuff sound ok on cheap headphones or even mobile speakers rather than a hi-fi setup.
