I haven’t a clue what constitutes ‘house’ - I’m far too square and uncool. But I think this is a terrific mix: driven, high energy, fun, crunchy. Makes me feel happy and want to dance. In other words, I like it a lot! xx

Aww, Thanks Ciggi :) Is that your name?? Thats hella cool. Anyway, I didn’t really know what house was either, when I danced to it I wasn’t really listening to it.. which is a weird little revelation I had.. anyway, I don’t think you uncool.. I mean you liked it so that counts for something :)

Please make the mixing and mastering again. If you have Mac, you can try the mastering tools of Logic Pro. If Ya have PC… i don’t know, but try some tricks with Adobe Audition… Or something else. Good rework!

Love the fact that lead sound sounds like its from a 1970’s Casio keyboard - Its so bad, but so good.
Arpegio’s? - Always a winner in my book. Great track - Full of melody, energy and has a touch of 80’s to it. |

Haha, Thanks.. I didn’t know anything sounded like it came from a certain era, I just used what I liked. Its interesting that it sounded like music from different eras!! Thank you for the reply, I hope you listen to some more of my house when I make it, I’ll definitely need criticism, but even more, someone who can give me criticism knowing what previous songs were like, and my evolution through house :) I think I’ve decided on a goal to make a massive 1 hour long house track, comprised of a bunch of different acapellas and samples from CC. I just wish there were more housey voxes around 120 - 130 bpm, Actually there probably is Im just not looking in the right place :P

I enjoyed listening. Good use of the source samples. And as noted by the others, great movement and sounds. I was particularly pleased with how the vocals came in. Who, by the way, won the contest?

excellent. This mix between a “classical” house, and this genius piano/tremolo/sliced, make this music energetic and funny in the same time. Funny and irresistibly catchy..Just what i like..cool..!

Sounds very much like a club mix of an 80’s band called “Aha”. Quirky and cool and totally danceable. Lovely. Thanks for the remix.
