Everything else is samples. I heard a blues meets Fiona Apple thing and I was too tired to record a whole arrangement. Although I spent way more time trying to find a guitar sample that would work, knew I could find something with Admiral Bob :)

Yeah, I can hear Fiona in vocalist. Right on. Have you heard this song by Margaret Cho featuring Fiona Apple? Fiona sings the second verse as the dog. I find it quite sweet.

My partner found that one… she’s one of those people who seem to naturally find the best music eva’. :) Margaret Cho’s album that had that song is actually pretty fun. She’s got some musical talent and teamed up with some great peeps. There’s a song with Tegan and Sara that’s pretty catchy.

Hey I just discovered them about 2 months ago right after fleet foxes and first aid kit.

YES! First Aid Kit is one of our favs. Have you heard this? They’re covering Fever Ray… if you haven’t heard of her, listen to the original, too. Also, another lady from Sweden to check out is Ane Brun.
