A fantastic organic flow to this. Sounds like it’s happening as it’s happening. Shows much respect for the spoken word too. Really a perfect piece.

Thanks man. Yeah I just left his drum track alone, which also alone told the whole story. I just played along to it. The vocals were painful to listen to, but afterwords and after reading more and more of his content and all the content created as tribute, I’m finding his instrumental stuff more painful, as you said he expressed himself so directly and truthfully. I am glad though that he had music to do that with and that it definitely brought him some joy.

FPB said that at the end of this lyrics :
”Possibly, maybe, decidedly ….
I will persist.”

We must continue to make beautiful music like this in remembrance of him.
my bad mood has changed by this track.thanks Jeris and FPB.
peace

Thanks CSoul, yeah I think we are lucky that we have the archives here as …therapy. In some ways the fact that I only knew him through the web means that I was not in denial like some friends and family I’ve lost, so I’ve experienced the grief immediately and directly.

That quote is an elegant statement, reminds me that life itself is really just an affirmation..the old ” I think therefore I am” …I heard somewhere too that it’s really just this constant question…do you want to be one with the infinite? …and we are really just like…ummmmm…nah…not yet…not yet.

Yes Jeris , I also only knew him through the web as you.I couldn’t explain to me that why i am sad.Yes this was the grief immediately and directly.
”do you want to be one with the infinite?”
I think ”the life” is single and i am a tiny part of it in just this time.
”life itself is really just an affirmation” totally agree.
peace

Love the percussion in this and that was one of Joe’s best features imo.

Thanks man, totally agree. Just the percussion track from Joe on this stands on it’s own as a complete arrangement.
