I really like how the musical setting almost rewrites the vocal melody (even though it doesn’t.) Everything on the track has motion, like the ticking second hand on a grandfather clock, pushing it forward.
And the choice of instruments, between the banjo and mandolin, is exactly to my tastes. :) |

This piece sounds a bit on edge. Like it’s poised to fall into something else at any point. Then about midway it pulls back - and accepts itself. I like it a lot.

Wow, nice … AdmiralBob got in touch with his inner Townsend for sure, and you’ve given it a nice bed to stretch across :-)

Wow Jeris, another great track. This one gave me goosebumbs (in a positive way) because it instantly reminded me of the folk-records my brother use to play to me.
I especially like the verses. The chorus(-pella) is a bit ‘loud’. I would have tried to smoothen it in some way. Apart from that: masterpiece. |

Thanks for the tip man, I turned the chorus pella down a bit, I think it’s better.. let me know.
Yeah, I’m totally in a folk mode right now. Recently found a bunch of inspiration. This wasn’t at all what I was I going for, but when I found the pella it sort of came together. I’m sure I’ll be working on some more folk in the next couple of weeks. |

Definitely better!
