Ok I listen to this and I really dig the musical aspect of it but you really need to work on matching the vocals up. Not only that but the BPM seems off. The beat seams too fast for the vocals. I think you are on 93 or 94. at least that is what it sounds like. if you are useing samples maybe you need to sync em up to a bpm of 92…. overall i like the music but it would sound soooooo much better if the vocal were sync’d up

The bpm is 92. Maybe i should drop it down to 91… I know what you mean about needing to sync up the vocals though. To be honest this is the least favourite song i’ve done (music wise, i love the vocals!) so i kinda moved on before ‘fine tuning’ it. To be honest all of the songs i’ve done so far are not really finished. I’ve only just started doing this so wanted to get some basic songs out there for feedback and advice, and to experiment. Next month i’ll start spending more time on a single song, polishing it to (near) perfection. Sorry for such a long reply, and once again, thanks a lot for taking some time out to listen to this. |
