I’ve been listening to a lot of African Funk recently (e.g., Nelcy Sedibe “Kikizelani” and J.J. Chauke “Madyisa Mbitsi”) and so this was nice to find here

Hello Izain!

I like this honest African music!

Do you know The Unknown Cases - Masimbabele?
And Burundi Black? I got goose pimples !!!

These records 25 years ago i’ve played to beyond recognition ….

I’ve got Matata’s album on African vinyl from close to 30 years ago…loads of Fela through my love of Roy Ayres…but recently I picked up quite a bit of the South African stuff…some under-rated and amazing stuff coming out of Africa for the last 30 years that doesn’t get the time of day here in Europe…I’m gonna check out the stuff you’ve recommended
