i have hazy memories of when i first started playing Bach as a young girl, a bit overwhelmed by the mastery of his counterpoint and the difficulty i had making my hands and brains perform two very different things at the same time.

thank you for this loveliness during this special (and somewhat emotional) time of year. beautiful!!!

looking forward to creating with you next year….

Thanks for your kind words.

This mix did not start out with the intention of being a combination of the backing track and your vocal. The music was an idea I was working on for a project and was open on the DAW. I took a break from it but left it open. I then decided to do some work on your vocal for another idea I had for a CCM mix so as I had a project already open I just placed it in there temporarily whilst I worked it out. When I pressed play I forgot to mute the BT and wallahh your voice shone through against a totally unrelated piece. I was amazed at how with just a little tweaking in held its own and more against the music which goes to emphasise how wonderful your voice is.

All the best to you and yours and let us hope the world becomes a far better place in 2023 than we leave it in 2022

That works quite well. Sometimes I wish I knew more about music theory (as opposed to nothing) so I could understand what you’re on about, but yeah, very enjoyable to my untrained ears.

As you do so well it is the pulling together of different ideas that makes music such fun
