I’ve uploaded more than 20 remixes to this site, and I haven’t used the same snaredrum with all them, I’ve used a lot of different samples, If u take a look there… I usually upload my files here because is a good way to give attribution, and yes, I often use the same snaredrum for each release, It’s like a tradition 4 me, if u see the another releases…

If u think I’m cheating the site, I think u are wrong… I’ve used more than 3 snares to make that sound, and another 3 bassdrums to make the bassdrum, I always use a pair of snares sampled by myself and usually another kind of sounds, but if u are so afflicted by my snaredrums take a look to the another 20 themes released here, u will discover more and maybe different ones…

yea I (obviously) had a lousy day too (16+ hrs traveling, serious jet lag)

This is what I was looking at when I wrote the above and also tainted by the fact that even after 20 uploads you haven’t bothered to review a single upload by anybody else. The whole picture (perhaps slightly distorted) was of somebody using the site to warehouse their music, not really partaking in the community. This is a remix community, emphasis on remix and community - neither of which you seemed to be taking very seriously. can you see how someone could get that impression?

I’m assuming this is rhetorical (if a little snide) and I think you know the answer is not quantitative. If you actually listen to the other uploads you’ll see a much (much) more significant use of samples from the Pool, esp. pells compared to your uploads.

I’ve remixed a lot of samples from the freesound community (theorycally, friendly page of this site), and even a pair of a capellas from ccmixter, sorry, if between 5500 samples downloaded at freesound, I’ve choosen the same sd, that was not my intention…

and I can’t warehouse all my files here because this web has got a limit of 10 Mb per upload, so I’ve had to use another site, a 20 minutes remix is not here because of that… xb
