The more upbeat feel works nicely, doesn’t hurt the mellow vibe of the source material at all… and yes, like it’s been said already- smmoooth.

Hey Pickman :D This is Gavin. I just wanted to say I really enjoyed listening to this. It’s really relaxing. :D I really like the different drums used, it gives the song an exotic feel? I think that’s the right words to use. I agree with Sack, Denny, and Duck…Very smooth :)
