It sounds a bit silly… like played into a tin can. Or like the Chipmunks.
I just can’t really bring attention to solos played on high bass, because they are in the normal guitar range and won’t stick out. Raising it an octave really makes it stick out (often to my horror). Then again, it’s just the idea for the melody. In fact, the bassline came after that melody. Again a really nice song Stefan, I even had it in mind while being in the woods hehe ;) |
