This feels like a Spanish serenade…would have love loved a flamenco bit in the middle as a complete break before a return to the smoothly jazzy serenade. Beautiful as usual mate

It’s funny that you mention flamenco because originally I wanted to do this in a sort of flamenco style but couldn’t get my voice to play along with my idea! I also aimed to get a flamenco flavour with the slightly bizarre lyrics.

Kinda stupid of me, I totally missed that. I treated it like a bossa nova, probably because I couldn’t see past the little bossa drum fills.

Thanks Ciggi! Panu kindly provided me with the original guitar song, so I could figure out the chords. For me it kinda felt like live, which was a lot of fun.
