Thanks, snowflake. I wrote this down for the first time right after the holidays last year, though it had been knocking about in my head for a year or so by then. This seemed like a good time to set it free. Like my children, I hope it stays true, travels far, and occasionally visits home. I can’t think of a better fate than to have whole bunches of people singing, playing, and remixing it.
