i was envisioning camel bells, oud, tambourines & balalaika… . methinks you may be from GDR by way of Bali because you just don’t hear THAT much 1/4 step and 1/8th step modulation this side of the Nile… . .

Thanks panu…honestly I was extremely close to make it a “bavarian” summer mix. With Brass setup only. I have switched the Bass at the last moment from Tuba to Acoustic Bass. I have also learned something about the 1/4 1/8 Step modulation…needed to read about it.

I can feel a hot breeze blowing from the prairie and see tumbleweed rolling towards me while I listen to this. You’ve caught the style perfectly - open and free and traditional - which suits Panu right down to his cowboy boots!

a perfect song for the unplugged stage — now if we can get you and Panu in the same place for a real live duo! beautiful mix.

Hey Kara, thanks a million for the pick. That’d give me the reason for having a large lemon drink this evening.

Without a doubt …. You also have this innate gift for you appropriate a pella and make it a very pleasant track to listen …. Another approach to the talent of Panu here.
