Dekalog - good choice but gloomy like those old years of communism era.

Hi Dox and thanks. Yes, it is gloomy in parts, but also brilliant I think. The last movie in the series — the one about the stamp-collector — that has some great comic moments too. I really like that particular film. Also, great Polish character actors!
