Thanks for this mate. This song has been brewing all week in the back of my mind. The basic idea came from seeing homeless English guys sleeping in doorways while smart tourists photograph crumbling historic buildings and have nice holiday time here in Eboracum (Roman name for York). But there are lots of other meanings and angles too. I wanted to use old colloquial English terms that are no longer much in use. I think I could write a whole essay about the issues behind this simple demo, but I’ll leave it at that for now! Thanks again—really appreciate the feedback!

The sc-version is very good and very convincing! The finger snaps and the back vocals make a laidback forlorn feeling. The new guitar theme is brilliant anyway!!! Take your time for next slight polish
