Hi and thanks for this. I haven’t performed in public for 20 years or so and don’t make any money from my music. The last few years have seen two of my business go to shit, to the point where I earn virtually nothing at all. I started uploading stuff here because I have time on my hands. I’ve lost count of the jobs I’ve applied for without even getting a reply. Music is becoming “my thing” because there’s literally nothing else to do! I started playing folk in public when I was 16 and my first job was busking. I’m now 51 and the way things are going, busking could be my last job too!

Hi Zep! Really—we’re the same age? Ha—must’ve been a good vintage that year! I think Wired_Ant is also of that year. And thanks for the kind words—I don’t know what will happen, financially speaking (worked as a freelance editor for the last 7 years but now work has dried up), seems like Music is all I now have left in my hands.
