Hi Zep and thanks for this. Yeah, I just started singing this spontaneously yesterday, so recorded it while the idea was fresh. Sadly no other lyrics sprang to mind! I guess it could work as a chorus in another song, or be developed into a full song in its own right. The basic idea is that someone keeps returning to a person/situation that burns etc. Might be interesting to get another singer/writer onboard to add the verses? Or I guess I could just add some more words myself!

Hi copperhead and thanks for this—and very good to hear you’re on the case! This song just came to mind when out strolling about—I just busked up the tune and lyrics in my head and then recorded it later, in order to preserve the idea. Thing is, having got the ball rolling, I then hit a bit of a block and felt unable to develop the lyric—kinda feel it’s an OK chorus. I keep meaning to go back to the song but get diverted by other ideas!

Let me see what I come up with and then I can send it to you which might inspire more on your end and we can develop like that. Like we all did in the old days lol. What a concept !
