very interesting take on my song. Thank you so much for clearing up the pella. I promise I will upload David’s guitar tracks as soon as I have a moment to convert them to mp3s.

You’re welcome for the pella surgery :) I wanted to take this in a different direction from your original. I suppose it wouldn’t be a remix if I didn’t. Thank you for reviewing, and for the samples!

I like that this has been mixed as dry as it is, and the rawness of the instruments doesn’t overwhelm the vocals, just adds to their power.
The guitar tone is out of this world. Raw and marshally. |
.
Thanks Admiral! Yep, everything in this mix is dry. I suppose the drums have some room-ambiance, but that’s about it. Appreciate the compliments, my good man!

Very cool, very centred, very hot mix, FB. I love your originality. And as for CSM, I could listen to her singing a utility bill and still be very, very happy. xxxx

Too many ‘very’s’. Oh well. My brain’s tired. Better have a medicinal G&T. Care to join me? xxxx

I “very” much appreciate the review. I wish I could join you for a Gin an’ Tonic. However, alcohol is not well tolerated in my system. I’m one of those who can’t just stop at a few. I had to either stop drinking or stop living. It was that bad. Enough of my personal flaws… Thank you kindly for the favorable review!

I know, let’s you, me and the Babies have a coffee. That’s my favourite drink anyway. xxxx

Yes, a coffee sounds splendid! It will get the Babies wound-up; But that’s nothing new. They’re crying…. Gotta go change diapers ;)

Dude, . I don’t know what you did with the arrangement… loved how the melodic chords shifted into jazzy end-part, which sounded like it’s on the brink of spiraling into madness — but thankfully it doesn’t. The remix works, is what I’m saying.
Am on chill-mode and playing this for the second time. Oh, guitar track please? If it’s not too much trouble :) Thanks for this alcohol-free piece of music. |
.
Thank you Ivan! The ending could have descended into madness, as is my wont. However, I reigned it in, so as to be consistent with the rest of the piece. I’ll post the guitar in a bit, just for you :)

oooh yes … restrained ending works well after the jazzed up rawness of the main part
|
.
Thank you, urmymuse! I’m glad I could restrain the Babies. Hehehe

Wondeful remix, FB. Reminds me of the late 1960 west coast but I can’t remember why … yet. Really like the expressive minimalism.
