As snapshots i think your mixes are great and maybe I am doing you an injustice but I think you are just putting these together very quickly just to get the effect across ASAP.
Behind all this I reckon there must be some very good talent so it would be nice to see you develop your ideas more and put together a “finished” mix. Also and I guess this is part of the problem, the pitches of vox and instruments are all over the place. Maybe what you put up is what you’re happy with but I would like to see you take it a little more serious as I believe you might have something very special for us to hear! |

Guilty on all counts, m’lud. In my defence I can only apologise that after over 35 years of playing as a amateur musician - always live - I’m rather new to this idea of multiple tracking and erasing your mistakes. Points taken on board, and I’ll try harder next time!!

There’s something about this idea which is very “sticky” memory-wise. Original and memorable.

Thanks Duckett - I’ve been told by a reliable authority that the continuous ‘mmm-mmm’ is similar to Bhuddist mantras, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself suddenly giving away all your money to the next Hare Krshna group you see. Beware!
