“Plethora of ‘Lies’ remixes?” I hadn’t noticed, myself, ha-ha…
This is sonically surgically clean, as expected- but the interpretation was worth the effort spent, I love the simultaneous feeling of intensity and languid depth. I wish I could remix as well as I listen, but perhaps the gap will be closed within time, someday… ;-)

Love the way you introduce the vocals
and the whole built up of this one

You said you admired and rated the Trifonic originals and perhaps here you are a bit ` in awe ’ of the them as you do not seem to have deconstructed the parts into your own style and so it feels a bit too close to the original.

I noted in your `how i did it’ notes that you thought the vox had too much FX on them. That possibly should have been your starting point to reinterpret everything into your type of mix.

These vocals do have a real identity that is hard to lose.

So yea its a pretty little mix :-)

I really like this remix…its a cool minimal interpretation that accentuates the vocals.

great to see what you made out of that liquid piece of vocal …

have it in my favourite pipeline for remixes but when working on it - always tend to swim away - out on the far ocean :D

I think this is an excellent remix. Suberb percussion and nice use of the big pads during the chorus. The vocal could be quieter for me. Nice stuff though.
