The backing track has that kind of folk rock sound that Suzanne Vega and Bruce Cockburn perfected, which is perfect for the lyrically focused pella from Lonnie. The combined package, as a result, is pretty super.

I dig it!! I wouldn’t call it funky, but it has a snapping finger rythm in it which is captivating. Don’t do it longer than this, it is perfect as it is.
