Lovely. A classic melody sung with tenderness. I wish I sounded like you when I sing.

Thank you so much, SJ. I think we both love sitting in the garden listening to birdsong! I think your ‘TraLa’ is just beautiful and beautifully sung.

Swooooooon! Dear Ciggi Burns this is splendid and beautiful and warm and loving and encompasses two of my favorite things: birds and space!! Ummm… I can’t wait to hear this remixed, but it sure is lovely hearing your crystal clear voice singin’ a capella!

Well now I’m swooning from your review. Thanks, K. You warm my heart with your words.

Lovely indeed. This one puts me in a calming, pleasant time and place. So thanks for that. I had a good long stay of multiple plays.
So I guess I’ll be the first to ask… did you have McCartney’s Blackbird in mind when you began, given the similarity of the first line? Or is it just one of those things? |
.
Well that is so very nice to know that you played it lots of times! Regarding McCartney’s Blackbird … the answer is that I don’t know it at all and so it has to be ‘just one of those things’!

When Nightingales sings about Blackbirds it must be fantastic. And it is.
This is wonderful. I put it on my ears and it will peacefully sing me to sleep. |
.
Thank you so much, Key. And thank you for making the recording process 100% more enjoyable and successful!

since you burst on the scene at ccM in ‘09 i’ve admired your soulful singing style, your much traveled soul & writing style and your undeniable world-class hotness (of the British persuasion!). we’ve chosen good musical mentors & come a long way since then. not for money or empty praise, but for the chance to express the urgings of the muse in a way that might encourage others to do the same. this track is nothing short of a beautiful piece of sonic art, a sand painting & a map to the infinite mystery of music. don’t ever think it isn’t worth it & don’t ever stop being YOU… . .

Pretty robin sings to accompany this voice so melodious …. which is pleasant to hear, in this quality.
Maybe the robins here, help me to find inspiration …. to accompany him. Excellent. |
.
Merci, Dan. J’espère que vous êtes inspiré - je sais que vous allez composer quelque chose tout à fait belle pour cette chanson. (En passant, ‘Garnet Wine’ est à côté.)

Really beautiful song, Ciggiburns. Despite it being lyrically and vocally tender, I heard a slight darkness in it, which I built upon in a short remix and hope to use in a game I’m making.
