To be clear, “samples” in this case is referring to the entirety of the upload, including the portions I’ve created as well as the source material provided for reference and/or alternate usage.

The source material for these samples is comprised of selected portions taken from the public domain, many of which have been edited to adhere to a 120 bpm rhythm structure.
I “own” the source material much in the same way I (or anyone else) “own” the sounds produced by a drum machine, the soundfont of a midi-player, or any material in the public domain. That is to say I didn’t create the source material, but I own what is created with it.
(The source and license for each sound can be confirmed by entering the portion of the filename that shows the upload number into freesound.org).

Because of the curation, editing, and sequencing that went into preparing the samples, I am 100% certain that they are my originals.
