About Me
In 1997 Jayspark joins the staff of Radio Time, leader in the Sicilian territory where he keeps working for a few years, caring of the most important programs “on-air” and proposing every Saturday night his dj-set, playing electro-house and minimal-tech music.
In 2002 Jayspark begins the collaboration with Filippo Rizzo, international musician and together they team up in the project “Jayspark”, open to several solutions and experimental styles.
In 2003 arrives the first experience for Jayspark, working on the remixes for Fodez from Lofo records (Indie label, UK).
In 2005, Jayspark and Filippo Rizzo (Jayspark) produce the single “Anyway”, released on the Indie Label Prolifica (famous for discovering artists such as Robert Miles, Spiller and Sophie Ellis Bextor, Planet Funk, Headland, The Servant).
In the same year, always for Prolifica, Jayspark works on the remake of different projects for several bands, until receiving the offer from the Megaliner, a Russian company, of remixing the main track from the film “Kill Bill”. The piece in matter referred to Triple X and Hotey with “The Battle Without Honor Or Humanity” and behind the same project there was Panjabi Mc of Mundian to Back.
In 2006, following the collaboration with Fabrix, Jayspark set up the label “Jayco Records”, maintaining the project Jayspark.
In 2007 Jayspark and Fabrix release the first project on Jayco Records, named “Input Tech.” The piece has also aroused to good interest from historical dj of international fame such as Tedd Patterson. The piece can be found in the compilation “Cosmic Waves” by Garragee.
In November 2007 Jayspark collaborates with Filippo Rizzo on an E.P. naturally signed Jayspark for a new release, with the collaboration of Fabrix as well, Mario Scalambrin and the Sicily Pleasure, Jayspark’s old friends, who have succeeded in making themeselves noticed among the most important international labels during the same year.
In 2008 Jayspark produces “The Set”, a new E.P. by “Jayspark & Fabrix” containing 4 different tracks: “Two Side” by Jayspark & Fabrix, “Green Eyes In The Night” by Franz, “Phroibited Perfomance” by Blanda & Galati, “Pergamena” by Ferro & Sarullo.
In September 2009, Jayspark produces a remix of Henry John Morgan project, named “California’s Dream”, released on Ultra Records and HJM Records.
At the end of 2009, Jayspark new project, “Rock It”, has been released on HJM Records and is available on all major portals for digital download, such as Beatport and Juno, etc.
A remix of one of the most well known tracks in the electronic scene, “Bongo Gongo” by Morgan & Bland, it’s already available on Beatport and Junodownload.
