Ran across a beat called jazzy hip hop. Had not heard a jazzy hip hop beat before but immediately decided it was worthy of a test drive. Scomber’s pell seemed a reasonable victim because his vocal rhymically synced with the jazzy hip hop beat. The song consists of Scomber fronting an urban juke joint piano, bass and drum trio with a 5 piece horn section and ragga backup singers. In places, a kick drum hit was added to the downbeat on the second bar of the 2 bar beat to provide a little East Bay Grease. Updated the bridge: Change the last beat of the 2 bar drum sample to provide a little swing.
