I was fascinated by Malre Deszik`s skill in bringing together such different sounds to make such mysterious tracks.

I decided this time round to use just one track as source material, and last Saturday chose the latest upload “Insects”
I then remixed the stems afresh every day, moving through various moods, including a dark EA Poe version. The version that made the cut is this more dreamy droney one


I have used 5 parts from the original sources plus a synth bass riff.
FX involved:
Reverb ( Art Music Technology, Anwida Soft, Valhalla Space modulation,Cockos Reverbate), JS Ring modulator, some stretching and chopping, plus EQ, panning & compression.

Apparently insects total biomass combined is several times that of human beings, hence the title.

I hope it finds favour.
