I wanted to write a song for the girls to sing for our friends Kylie and Wayne who are getting married on the beach in Fiji in a couple of weeks time.
Contemplating playing it live, unplugged on the beach.
I borrowed a couple of lines from Snowflakes “Reflection” as a starting point and wrote the rest against Paul’s nice acoustic guitar.
Recorded the girls separately. Their timing and blend is uncanny - each sung it blind, not hearing each other - just relying on a couple of listens of my crusty guide vocal.

Quite challenging writing a wedding song that doesn’t sink in corny cliches.
Hope I avoided most of them.
