These were written in Matsuyama, Japan in 2012. Matsuyama-jo is the town’s ancient stone-and-wood castle. Okonomiyaki is the traditional Japanese omelet/pancake. Bonito flakes are a garnish of dried fish slivers which wave on top of the dish.
 
 
Calling Sister Midnight’s beautiful piece seems to be the perfect marriage to me. Thanks Melody - the rain at the end is an added bonus!
