Rock paper scissors

Rock.
Paper.
Scissors.

in real life the rules flex.
necessity is invention’s supporting mother
creativity (the father) having moved on ..

bamboo erupts breaking bitumen
paperbarks cleave rock in gorges
time drips water carves canyons

water eats rock hollow cave’s obverse
is solid stalactites
(rock born of water )

steel
excavates
rock

which melts
to forge steel
for scissors

ideas scratched on paper
defeat scissors or swords
ideas which

may even endure

beyond rock
