[another in my rather esoteric collection of phobic poems. This one is genuphobia - the fear of knees.
Feel free to dispose of the beats - a couple of the edits are a bit dodgy; really just there to spark a few ideas.]

genuphobia
(the fear of knees)

you
genuflect to that fear.
get down on knameless knobbles
to beseech a medial ligament of your imagination
a cartilaginous desire (wishbone?)
that your own legs
didn’t bend at
midpoint.
