This grew out of my attempt to submit something for the 93rd Disquiet Junto “netlabelhybrid”. The source material for the Junto was all quite minimal and maybe more like what I would be writing myself were I starting from scratch, so instead of staying within that genre, I tried to do something more melodic and playful.

Then I started another track, which eventually grew into “Invasive Choice Evasion” ( Disjuntolate – Invasive-choice-evasion ), and missed the Junto deadline with both tracks. I played with this track some more over the next few weeks, mostly while on the bus to and from work, and now I want to play with it no more, at least for now.

In addition to the Disquiet Junto sources, it now also incorporates Orrisroot’s Hey Bird ( ccmixter.org/files/orrisroot/43496 ).
