This song is about your hips calling us to get them grooving. “Pocket Dial” is based on a bass riff that is reminiscent of a ringtone, so I wrote lyrics about why I would get pocket dialed. It’s just a strange combination of movements that gets to my number, so it’s like the beginning of a dance, so I imagined that your hips just need me to get into the full swing of some sweet dance moves.
