So this song started out on an acoustic guitar, just playing a simple riff while letting half the strings open and droning.
Incidentally, this kind of technique is how I first learned to manipulate harmony back when I was just learning how to play guitar, and hadn’t actually learned any music theory yet. The tune also takes some clear inspiration from Low, particularly the minimalist drumming style of the late Mimi Parker. Funny enough, this song was done on time, no real stress. ( watch the VOD)
