The initial plan was to treat the piano part as though it were lifted off a commercially released record. I don’t think that quite comes across, but the track goes in some interesting places anyway.

I tried moving some of the drum hits “off the grid,” so to speak, and so the whole thing is just a bit unsteady, like the song keeps losing its balance.
