March (Satoration Sample Mix)

Appreciative thanks to Calendargirl, who provided me with MIDIs for the melody, contra melody and chords, which simplified my task of sequencing the synthesizers on this track.
Thanks also to Glenn Olander, whose freeware synthesizer Crystal http://www.greenoak.com) fueled the melodies in this song. Thanks to Ian Webster, whose “wild and crazy” effect xciter4 allowed me to restructure the second iteration of the Satoration sample. This bit of fun is freeware available from http://www.krakli.co.uk/ Thanks as ever to http://www.ixi-software.net, whose freeware Slicer permitted me to build atmospheres for the song. Thanks to Satoration, whose website advises that the name is derived from both satori and saturation. The sample posted on freesound made a nice juxtaposition with this song. Most of the samples here are my own household commonplace samples, from a foot-powered air pump to a simple set of hanging bells. I used the synthesizer Sawcutter 2.0 shareware from http://www.cuttermusic.com to process the percussion.
