I am working on collecting/writing/editing poems for this year’s Bucks County Poet Laureate competition. Poems have been hard to come by. My writing has been a lot like this, complaining about what I can’t say. But hey at least I’m saying something.

This

This emptiness waiting to be filled,
This bubbling energy waiting to be released,
This thing which will not take form.
This “no”
This “it is not”
This thing that is no thing.
This absence,
This longing,
This… unspeakable …truth.
