Originally titled “Left for Dead,” this poem was written last Fall. After a really rocky early Spring, my favorite climbing rose, which is nearly dead is sporting a spray of plump buds right near my office window and by my front door as if to welcome all that enters my life. I’ll post the text later if anyone wants it.
