Here is something I made as a challenge to myself to churn out a remix within 48 hours. I happened to pick this from the melodies list and I ran with it. I didn’t listen to the original until I was finished. I was surprised at how different my final mix was to the original. I was just trying to make music that I felt suited the vocals best, because I think they stand out well on their own. They needed a bit of cleaning up, but nothing tremendously difficult. I think my final result stands out as a far more depressing song than originally was called for. But to me the lyrical content is one big downer. I take from it something else that proplably isn’t what the song is talking about, but to me you’re not going anywhere is a phrase that best represents my current situation of not being able to go anywhere.
