MEANING AND JOY

Life is ruled by meaning,
Our actions are thought out with benevolence,
Meaning is like science, I think, I think

Yet in nonsense there is meaning,
That of a truth with inconsistencies it is a matter of knowledge
The meaning of our existence.

I think so I am,
In school we learned it,
The world comes to life
As well as the galaxy.

Earth spins around the Sun,
In summer the buzzing of bees,
All this has an intellectual journey,
For life to be beautiful

Joy

Good mood and health radiates,
Joy is back, it hums,
Through the streets of Paris jubilation amazes me,
Hilarious passers-by parade down this pedestrian street.

I repeat it again: life is beautiful,
It’s like being entwined with a pretty lady,
After the party calm reigns,
To start singing with Irène again.

We wake up in the morning well,
I no longer have kidney pain,
I’m going to get my good bread,
The smile on the lips, no more sorrow.

It’s beautiful, it’s ecstatic,
Existence is beautiful without politics,
I’m no longer stuck in long traffic,
The day without fear but true happiness.
