Stanley Zawadzki left Poland in 1956 to come to Hollywood to be a star. His friends in the small village of Chudow had told him it was his destiny. He arrived full of hope but by 1998 when I met him he was driving tourist buses. Memories of fame and fortune long gone.

Thanks to Javolenus for providing some beautiful guitar. I have added piano and strings and a little guitar. The basic lyric was written sometime in 1999.

Re mastered the mix to remove some of the excessive high end and took the chance to replace the electric solo with some alto sax.
